The Carle Illinois College of Medicine is the first medical school in the nation focused, from the beginning, at the intersection of engineering, technology, big data, and health care. We will shape a new kind of graduate, who will be a physician-innovator, and provide a culture uniquely prepared to offer new discoveries that will have a worldwide impact. The future of the Carle Illinois College of Medicine stands at a critical founding moment—we have the leadership and strategy in place, and we look to new partners, like you, who understand the impact we can have on the region, nation, and world to join us in taking the next strides forward. Together we can transform the future of Medicine for Illinois and the world. We ask that you join us.

Instructional Case Studies Fund
How do you harness the peak creativity of the most innovative young minds? With a case-driven, problem-based active learning curriculum developed at the intersection of basic and clinical sciences, engineering and innovation, and medical humanities. Expert teams led by a clinician, a basic scientist and an engineer are developing thematic cases covering diverse areas from cardiovascular to neurology. Through these cases, tomorrow’s entrepreneurs and leaders, trained in medicine through the lens of engineering, will develop creative and compassionate solutions to our most pressing healthcare challenges.
Facilities and Equipment Fund
Igniting revolutionary new ideas at the convergence of medicine, engineering and technology requires first-rate facilities and infrastructure.
