LER is excited to announce a newly endowed LER International Student Scholarship for our students. The endowment was established by an alumnus who is thrilled to begin supporting our international students and made a lead gift to establish the scholarship. LER is proud to continue our growth in the recruitment of exceptional international students to the master’s program and PhD program, with 26% of our on-campus program being international students representing 29 international institutions. This scholarship allows us to continue to recruit the brightest minds in the world.
The first recipient of the new LER International Student Scholarship is Carys Zhao, who is from Shanghai, China and received her undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois in Industrial & Organizational Psychology and Statistics. Carys shared, “Being awarded the scholarship has granted me an honorable recognition of my past accomplishments, and thus empowers me with confidence to thrive in my future career, both in academia and in the business sector.”
