On April 28th, the Philanthropic Planning Series: Advancing Research that Impacts Lives brought together alumni and friends to hear Dr. Neal Cohen—Professor, founding Director of the Interdisciplinary Health Sciences Institute (IHSI) at Illinois and the current co-Lead of SHIELD CU– highlight how Illinois’ research enterprise advances transformational research from the laboratory to real-world applications that impact daily life. The University of Illinois Foundation’s Office of Gift Planning and Trust Services then built on Dr. Cohen’s message, sharing strategies designed to help achieve personal financial and philanthropic objectives with Illinois or other priorities important to you.
